Remembering 9/11: St. Louis Events to Honor the Anniversary
Ceremonies and Commemorations
St. Louis will hold several ceremonies and events on Sunday, September 11, 2023, to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The main ceremony will take place at the Gateway Arch National Park at 8:30 a.m. The ceremony will include a reading of the names of the victims, a moment of silence, and a wreath-laying ceremony. The event is free and open to the public.
Other events taking place on September 11th include:
- A memorial service at the St. Louis Firefighters Memorial at 10:00 a.m.
- A blood drive at the American Red Cross headquarters from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- A candlelight vigil at Kiener Plaza at 7:00 p.m.
