The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) bid farewell to the Nepali National Cricket Team at a ceremony held at Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday. The team is set to depart for Canada to participate in the ICC World Cup League-2, which will be held from August 24 to September 15.

Speaking at the farewell ceremony, CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand expressed his confidence in the team and urged them to give their best performance. "I am confident that our team will perform well in the tournament and make the country proud," he said.

The team is scheduled to play its first match against Oman on August 24.
